I’ve been to a lot of different dentists throughout my life because I’ve always dealt with cavities, and Dr. Walker at 17th St Modern Dentistry is by far the best dentist I’ve ever had. He’s done 5+ crowns for me now, plus multiple repairs and cleanings, and every single experience has been smooth, honest, and genuinely cared for. What I appreciate most is that he never tries to bombard me with huge plans or unnecessary work. He always focuses on what’s truly needed and takes the time to explain everything clearly. It’s rare to find that level of honesty and integrity in dentistry these days. The entire staff is amazing, friendly, and personable, and the office itself is modern, clean, and really comfortable. You can tell they take pride in creating an environment where people actually feel taken care of. I’ve already recommended Dr. Walker and this office to a bunch of friends, and I’ll continue coming here for years to come. If you’re looking for a dentist you can fully trust, this is the place.

I had my regular six month dental cleaning and check up this morning. The staff is always so very friendly and personable. The office is always clean and comfortable. Everyone in the office is so professional and kind. The scheduling is always good, they are always on time and they have a good reminder system in place. No one likes going to the dentist… but this office goes above and beyond making people comfortable and at ease.

A crown popped out over the weekend requiring total replacement. From the moment I entered 17th Street Modern Dentistry each member of the team welcomed me, starting with Destiny, at the front desk, who can make you smile, regardless of physical discomfort or while summarizing your out-of-pocket costs! I was assigned to Dr. Jalhoum who greeted me with a warm smile and listened attentively to my concerns and comments, before, during, and after the dental process. She was so kind and communicative that I knew I was in the best hands that day. Dr. Magar, the specialist who did my root canal (yes, the root nearly met the crown--hence pain!) rescheduled clients to ensure he could take care of the matter, which made me feel like a priority. Despite being in a chair for 5 hours and the last to leave that evening, I departed with a smile, albeit slightly crooked till the anesthesia wore off!
